As a soon to be a Icon, aspiring entrepreneur, and young dad. Guerilla D experience in the street, coupled with his amazing growth as an individual has placed him in a position only a handful of people in this life reach. "I'm not concerned with having to prove myself," Guerilla D says. "I don't have to prove anything, because my growth as an individual and as a Music Icon.Indeed, with the release of his second Collabration album Off The Chain Vol.2 individual its obvious Guerilla D AKA "Mr.240" is a top-notch individual whose artistic vision tower over the competition. Guerilla D was born and raised in the notoriously known Jersey City. As a child, the aspiring Music Icon listened to and idolized early Bad Boy, Roc A Fella and AfterMath recording Icons like Dre, Diddy and Jay-Z, who he cites as some of his early influences. A few years later, Big.D met Ramon Terry AKA Red who would later take the reigns of Co CEO of 240 Ent and help molding him into a prolific and profound artistic individual . In 2000 at the ,Guerilla D made his label 240Entertainments In 2001, Guerilla D, recording Twizz the Jersey City super-Man 240Ent and dropped His self-titled debut CD. The records independent success garnered the young mc ledgen of fans throughout New Jersey. He further distinguished himself as the MC to watch on the Twizz 60 Minute Mix tape with DJ LP (2001). Guerilla D launched his solo career with the release of the hood smash Gangster And A Gentlemen. All The artist had they individual wordplay, combined with his mature street Wiz made the CD one of the year's most compelling albums. The young prodigy’s second second Collabration album , Off The Chain Vol.1(2005), further certified Guerilla D's reputation as one of Jersey’s finest Music Icon, but it’s soon to be released 240Ent solo album that finally forced rap fans beyond the Jersey City to recognize what die-hard Guerilla D fans knew all along: Big.D is a hip hop force to be reckoned with. As the newest venture on Guerilla D's imprint, 240 Entertainment, 240Ent solo album is bound to thrill those who have watched Darnell mature since his first appearance on Gangster And A Gentlemen. "Everyday I experience new things, and these experiences I express creatively in my CD's. Guerilla D is a perfectionist in the lab, has never been one to waste time. In fact, he has been known to complete 7 songs in an 8 hour recording slot. "I could do an entire album in a week," he brags, "But 240Ent solo album took me a little longer a few months, he deadpans. I wanted to make sure everything was right." Approaching 240Ent solo album with the skills of a psychologist,Guerilla D dug through the vaults of his own material in order to analyze his own style. "Listening to the past albums, I wanted to change it up slightly. What fans will be hearing on 240Ent solo album is a revised and refreshed Guerilla D, from the scorching first single "240 Is Back," produced by newcomers Ansane, where Guerilla D drops blazing thoughts, to his first single. Guerilla D is no longer the young cocky boy from Clinton Avenue content with just CREATING GOOD MUSIC. Aside from fans, fellow artists have also recognized his maturation as a well rounded musician. Consequently, Guerilla D poetic Ideas has earned him featured collaborations on Guerilla D smash hit Stand up and many more. These collaborations have exposed the gifted artist to a broader audience, demonstrating that his talent knows no boundaries. Guerilla Ds Ideas and choice of subject matter have also become more versatile. Off The Chain Vol.2 is the one CD that stands out to him. With 240Ent solo album Guerilla D proves himself more than a contender to the throne, because this winner is already wearing the crown.
