Kalioso: Born and raised in Oakland, CA, "Kali" is the elder brother of the group 2 Da Face. Inspired by Bay Area rap pioneers, Kali began writing and spittin' eight years ago. He got his first experience in the studio in 1998. He got his foot in the door and made an appearance with the project "Sixth Sense: Episode 1" which dropped in 2003. Since then Kali and his brother Untame have engulfed themselves in making projects such as their 2003 release "Bout 2 Rain" currently for sale on 2dafaceentertainment.info and cdbaby.com/2daface and their latest 2005 masterpiece, "Facialz". Kali has a nice flow with a tendency to serve straight game to his listeners. Packed with knowledge of the streets, a top notch education, and a nose for success, he is sure to bring tight spit. He has recently begun producing tracks as well. Some of his beats are on the 2 Da Face album, "Facialz". He will also be producing tracks for Untame's upcoming solo project as well as the new Kali and Untame project (not yet titled) with self-produced instrumentals for other artists to use. Kali is an innovator aiming at taking this label to the top.
Untame was born and raised in the Bay. His early days were spent in East Oakland inhalin' air between 55th and Seminary. After enduring a broken home, Untame moved to the outskirts of Oakland. He is the youngest of five siblings. He made his mark playing football and baseball as a youngsta and into his teenage years. He started rappin' with his brother Kalioso and some of his closest peoples also while in his adolescent years. Times got hard for Untame as he had to step his game up and hustle to support a son that he fathered when he was 17. He yearned to be a role model his seed could look up to. Through good and bad experiences, Untame has a lot to say and offer to the rap game. He has an original flow coming straight from the heart of a young artist here to silence the negative critics that don't show love to the Bay. Untame is also a talented producer with a variety of beats. He produced the entire "Bout 2 Rain" EP and most of the tracks featured on the the group's album, "Facialz". He will team up with Kalioso to produce the instrumental album this year. Look forward to embracing this budding star real soon.
