Don’t get it twisted, when you hear or see the name “Preech Man� A.K.A 2Tha Point. He’s unpredictable in a good sense and after listening to him just once; you will know that he is a future icon in this industry. His sound has been compared to the Late Great Notorious B.I.G., Big L and Beanie Siegel, but his style is one that's far more different. He doesn't speak about materialistic things he keeps it simple and real.
Raised in Yonkers, New York, Preech started early writing poetry, than later on at the age of 13 he began rapping. Since than Preech has continued to make a name for himself by doing open mic’s, showcases, concerts locally and out of state. In the year 2000 Preech was featured in the Ruff Ryder Documentary Volume I, where Dmx talks about him highly stating, “when he (Preech) gets in the game Preech will make a major impact�. In 2005 you can see Preech in the FIGHT KLUB DVD where he is showing another side of him running through rappers. Preech is a member of the Fight Klub Elite Team. Preech was also featured in a book Titled: I DON’T NEED A RECORD DEAL, written by Deyanne Shwartz. Preech has done performances with some of Hip Hops luminaries such as: Dmx, Busta Rhyme, LOX, Slick Rick, Ice-T, Doug E. Fresh, just to name a few. Preech has also worked with some of today’s hottest producers such as: Heatmakers who has produced for DipSet and many others, Young Lord who has produced for Big Pun, Bad Boy Records, D.R. Period who has produced for Smoothe Da Hustla, Trigga Da Gambla, Janet Jackson, just to name a few of the producers.
In the year 2000 Preech was introduced to the Flintstones, a team of hot producers who has worked with the Queen of Hip Hop Mary J. Blige, K-ci & Jojo and Nivea, just to name a few. Preech in 2003 released his first independent album with Bedroc Records titled “My Reality�. The album “My Reality� is considered to some a classic that wasn’t heard by the world. Every song on the album can be related+ to either by you the listener or you know someone that went through it. Preech is currently working on his second album titled “New York Newz�, where he plans to bring hip-hop back to NYC. Preech states “ hip hop has lost its substance, everyone is saying the same thing, so I’m gonna bring back what hip hop is now lacking.
Preech plans to prove to the world that the fact that he is on crutches. He will not let anything stand in his way. Though he has been through many obstacles in his life, he has never let his crutches be an excuse. And he won’t start NOW!!!
