Borrowing the album title from Journey's "Raised on Radio" would pin the tail right on the donkey in describing the sound of pop/rock group 39 Goodbyes of Easton, PA. The group sites everything from the tight harmonies of The Eagles to the loud guitars of The Foo Fighters as the key ingredients to their music. The group formed in the summer of 2005 and settled on its current lineup (vocalist/guitarist Lorenzo Bubba, bassist Billy Voight and drummer Tim Walter) in early 2006. In the past two years the band has managed to play an impressive 250+ shows. Having their hometown centralized between New York City and Philadelphia, PA has given the band the opportunity to play many famous venues with legendary artists. Some of the noteworthy locations the group has played: closing week of CBGBs, The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, The Great Allentown Fair, Kenny's Castaways, Musikfest, The Big Kahuna, North Star Bar and The Grape Street Pub. The group has had the opportunity to share the stage with: Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Lifehouse, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, The Spin Doctors, and Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. With help from having their music plastered all over both satellite and regional radio stations, unsigned artist compilations, and Myspace.com, 39 Goodbyes has built solid fan base.
