R.I.P 40 Below Summer was a great band with a lot of talent. They put on a great live show one that I will never forget. Max put a lot of emotion into the songs. Their first Invitation to the Dance is by far one of the best CD's I have come across by combining hardcore breakdowns with melodic singing, a dash of aggressive hip-hop, and the worldly aspects of jazz, 40 Below Summer creates a recipe that will satisfy the listener as well as sate one's soul. Max Illedge's unique vocal mannerisms help push 40 Below Summer forward, and his natural vocal ability make songs such as "Step into the Sideshow" and "Falling Down" stand out as must-hear tunes. These guys will be missed. I hope their new project with ex-Flaw members Black Market Hero are just as good as 40 Below Summer was.
