Winners of the 2005 Urban Synergy Festival and the 2004 Hip Hop 4ever Festival, their city’s most prestigious urban music contests, 4DZ Societiez is Montreal’s #1 Hip Hop band and one of Canada’s hottest unsigned talent.
Defined by a unique blend of Rap and RnB mixed with live instrumentation, 4DZ fuses organic hip-hop beats with lyrics of conscience. In the wave of new canadian hip hop artists such as K-OS, the band mixes the old and the new school with influences that range from hip-hop to rock, to soul and jazz. Exploring many different styles of music, themes and flows, 4DZ brings a new refreshing flavour to the music world.
Best known for their impressive live shows, the colourful collective has proved that they can “rock the house” on many occasions. Consisting of one Rapper/MC, one singer/guitar player and one drummer/percussionist, 4DZ uses other guest instrumentalists to add to their distinctive sound and accompany them on tour.
After winning numerous contests and spreading their name across the internet with infamous tracks such as “Serial Killer”, the band is now fresh out of the studio with a hot new album! 4DZ’s first full-length EP, the carefully crafted and approprietly titled “At Last”, is finally available to the general public.
The band is now on the road and will be touring extensively in the Montreal area and across the province performing in high schools, bars, festivals and other events to promote their new album.
