Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, the four transplants tell the tale of a powerful, life altering journey. Armed with the desire to explore new ground and the intent to compose new music, the musicians took their roots to London, Ontario to expand on creativity and produce entrancing harmonies. Having captured the essence of subtle intensity with their musical prowess, A Capricious Youth speaks a language of unscathed beauty. With penetrating poetic lyrics and fervent melodies, their music encompasses truth and heartache. Hypnotizing guitars, commanding bass lines, punchy drumbeats, and powerful emotive vocals all encapsulate a captivating sound. Now proudly paving the path to musical prominence, the experimental rock group has recently released an EP entitled Start the Show. With hints of jazz influences and elements of hard rock impact, their songs all passionately unveil sorrow, happiness and all which rests in between.
