A Fatal Denial(DP Records) is a melodic punk rock/metal group that was formed in the suburbs of Detroit, MI in the fall of 2003. The band plays minor key punk rock with jazz-counterpoint-written technical riffs that will make you want to start doing vector calculus; they throw in an 80's metal whammy-filled guitar solo every now and then, and then to top the classy babe off, they belt out some catchy heartfelt vocals about how girls and george bush are crazy. The stuff that is on here right now is extremely old so don't judge the current band on it...it's a bit of a different animal now. Expect something fresh this summer: a new EP is scheduled to be recorded at Sentient Studios in May. Following this recording session, A Fatal Denial will be back on the playing field, so come to the shows we will be playing in the meantime to raise money for the release. A Fatal Denial has shared the stage with such acts as Poulain (Fiddler), Junction 18 (Fearless), Hit the Lights (Triple Crown), Fordirelifesake (Thorp), Anterrabae (Triple Crown), Bloodlined Calligraphy (Facedown), The Spill Canvas, The Lyndsay Diaries (The Militia Group), Amity (Heldwithin), and Frank White.
