With an array of R&B artists emerging by the second, it is difficult to distinguish yourself from the competition. Song writer, singer, producer, actor, model, author and college student, Aaron Reevey, however, has had no problem doing so.
Songs such as "The One," "Slowly Surely," "Played Me For A Fool," and "If The Phone Don't Ring," reflect a surprisingly confident individual. In an industry where every male R & B artist is trying to be the next Michael Jackson, Aaron Reevey is only trying to be Aaron Reevey.
He offers a unique perspective of the industry. "A lot of these guys are trying to follow the footsteps of other people, but you have to be yourself. As a songwriter I write music that people can relate to, a lot of these guys go into the studio and produce something that sounds manufactured and similar to the next artist. I'm trying to do something positive with actual depth and artistic merit. I'm not using explicit language or singing about subject matter that is foriegn to me. This record is honest and honesty has been missing for quite sometime now."
