Started from dream to be a musician, Aji aka Ajot as a drummer formed a band with Epo (vocal/growler) on September 2007. we continued to search a guitarist and a bassist. a few days later Abel aka Gobel (rythem guitar) fill the emptiness at guitar position. because we fell difficult with a single guitarist, so Gobel invited his schoolmate at junior high school, Logi aka Petoz as a lead guitar. after a week we got a bassist, Adit aka Ciping .and we formed a band ABSENT FOR TODAY with screamo genre which our influnces was : underoath, aiden, alesana,etc.
October 2008 Bayu became the second vocalist in our band, so we had 2 vocalist. his coming made our music different than before. then we invited Bulan as additional keyboard. as time goes by, ABSENT FOR TODAY became deathmetal/trash metal band till now. |
