Across the Way is a melodic punk band from Tacoma/Seattle Washington. The bands music is filled with soaring energy; dramatic changes in melody, screaming guitar solos, solid bass and drum lines, while retaining the simple sound of punk in their music. Across the Way or ATW, is known not only for growing fast in their local scene but also known as the band that seemed to get things done. Working hard to promote and release as much material as they could within a small budget, the band had accomplished a lot of these tasks. Within four years ATW had released one EP, a small distributed 8-track album, and two full length professionally recorded and mastered albums. With the success of "Fallen Flags", ATW's first full-length album, the band nailed shows with bands such as Hangnail, the Undecided, Dogwood, and others. In 2001 the band released it's second full length album which was considered "Self-Titled". Not only has ATW had local success but national success in selling their albums to Europe and Japan. ATW hopes to continue to grow and share its music with others around the world.
