| Athough “First” was not initially planned as a concept album like the “Distanz EP” (release early 2009) the compositions are held together by the omnipresent duality we face. It inherits the internal strifle of individuals, the incapacity of the masses as well as the contrasts in nature and in life itself: Haunting romantic melodies packed together with machinelike sequences, flowing harmonic soundscapes clash with the crude electricity of industrial beats. “First” creates a dark and shimmering atmosphere far away from common superficiality and stereotype-thinking, a score for memories and dreams, personal and intimate for the ones who read between the lines. |
