Adam Rich is a multi instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, and drums. Adam has a wide range of styles, varying from rock to acoustic, jazz, pop, ska, instrumental guitar, fusion, metal and punk. Adam was heavily influenced by such instrumental guitarists as Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson as well as Metallica, Overkill, Ben Harper, Social Distortion, Bad Brains, Guns N Roses and the Goo Goo Dolls.
Adam's newest CD is titled You Can't Escape Life and features many different guest vocalists. Released in early 2006, the CD is the latest release on Love Muffin Records, Adam's own label.In 2002, Adam released his debut CD Foundation.
In the mid to late 1990's, Adam released 3 cassettes while he was in college. Adam also played bass for the band State Of Green (1994-1997), Tadpol (1998-2001) and Girth (2002-2006). Adam formed his own group to play his solo material. The group debuted in Cleveland March 3rd, 2007. That proved to be the only show the band played. His next CD is slated for 2010, with a tentative title of Streetlight Smile
Currently, Adam plays bass for Oliver Buck & The New Madrids. The band combines rock, blues, folk, and americana. They released their unleash their follow-up EP Prarie Girl in June 2009. The band will be disbanding in July, and the rhythm section will be backing singer/songwriter Quinn Sands. |
