i love it too.
i really like how the color is kinda faded.

its funny that i didn't recognize the band
at first, but i loved the song. they've
been away for so long i wasn't expecting

theyre not going back to playing the style of
music they played 5 or 10 years ago. if you
like that stuff, listen to their old cds.
theyve progressed and evolved so much since

The original post was asking what we tought
about the video, not just the song. Talking
about the hair is acceptable here, because it
is a VISUAL component (video= Latin,
"to see"). It's completely

i dont understand why people are so afraid of
progression in music. You can't make a
long term, respectable career in music if you
don't play around with your sound.
Its been 15 years since they formed AFI, you
think they're still influenced by the same
kind of music? Of course not.
i love black sails in the sunset, but if
Decemberunderground had sounded exactly like
it, i would have been pissed. You have to
expect that afi is going to change their
style with every cd. its what they do. its
what keeps them interesting. and its what
gives them some of the most devoted fans you
will ever meet. and don't even try to

ok.some of you say that if afi did hardcore
again it would sux some say it wouldnt. the
reason i said i wish they did go back to the
way they were is because back then they didnt
care about making money and shit they cared
about the fans, not that they dont anymore or
anything cuz they do ... just not as much.
being a hardcore kid from california ya of
course i want afi to go back. i mean we cant
even see them play in berkeley anymore, its
fucking gay. so thats just the point i want

i disagree. obviously the afi fanbase has
grown quite a bit, so im sure it is a lot
harder for them to talk to every single fan.
but right now, i am reading davey's
answers to questions people asked him on the
official message board. hes on tour and
still finds the time to try his best to talk
to the fans.
i met adam carson a few weeks ago with no
problem. so even with a platinum selling
record, afi are still a rather accesible

I think Miss Murder is okay, Personaly the
band has better songs and has had better
videos in the past, I don't really care
though cause they are extremely talented and
as long as they continue to express that i
don't care how they choose to do so. I do
like the vid and i hope it wins just so they
