Afrika Bambaataa was from the NYC bouroghs or Harlem. He is the Godfather of Renegade Funk which inspired the West Coast Electro-Funk Era. This became Ruthless, Priority, from Macola Records. Bambaataa united all of the NYC Innercity gangsters and created the Zulu Nation. Bambaataa deserves a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, he did appear in the classic Hip-Hop film Beat Street. Listen and learn form the originals like Afrika Bambaataa, not these corrupted Lyricists with few skills and little creativity hijacking Hip-Hop and destroying the art. | xtek |
*ahem* may i point out dat afrika bambaataa's rap was killing rap? | jiggyX7 |
Boy, and you say you love hip-hop?
Damn, please. | HumptyHump |
You may not Point out something that is a lie. Afrika Bambaataa is a pioneer in the music of Rap and hip-Hop. So was Grand Master Melle Mel and Flash and the Furious five, Just like RUN DMC with Jam Master Jay or LL Cool J and so on. Sure no-one has an album with songs every one likes or respects but now days there is more M.C.'s that are just making wannabe Hip-hop and Rap thatn ever in the history of Hip-Hop. Grow up kids - and do what you like, 90 percent of ya'll wont make it to see the year 2030 :) :( :) :( anyways respect the original concepts not the booty-az ish. | xtek |
