Agate was formed in 2004 by Rune Torgersen (bass/vocal) og Mira Birkelid (leadvocal/keyboards/songwriter).
In December 2007 Agate released their first EP “Noble truth” and already works with the full length album “Prana”.
Besides that the band is gigging a lot in Norway, promoting the EP and planning an European summer tour.
Agate is ambitious and hardworking band, with both legs planed on mother Earth, knowing that nothing comes for free.
There is no illusions, about becoming a rock star over the night and despite all the changes of band members and challenges, the band have managed to remain and developed its own sound.
