It’s been quite a ride for Seattle rockers AIDEN, who, in just two years, have gone from obscurity to gracing magazine
covers, winning awards and playing arenas with their heroes. Fueled by infectious dark punk and an infamously jawdropping
live show, they have taken the world by storm…not bad for five kids from the rainy city who formed while two
of them were still in high school.
After selling Will’s car to fund their first self-released album Our Gang’s Dark Oath in 2003, the band built their loyal
following one fan at a time, playing shows in their local area and making their own CDs to hand out at shows. It was one
of these CDs that attracted the attention of Victory Records. The band signed to Victory in 2004, and released their
second album, Nightmare Anatomy in 2005, recorded before Jake D and Angel had even graduated. Since then, the
band has gone above and beyond their wildest dreams. With gracing domestic & international magazine covers, touring
with HIM & 30 Seconds To Mars in the US, two sell-out tours of the UK, a whole summer on Warped Tour, winning Best
International Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards, and Best Newcomer at the Metal Hammer Awards, 2006 was just a
hint of what is to become of this multi-talented band that always leave critics eating their words and new fans worshiping
them.
Already this year, AIDEN have been part of Taste Of Chaos
North American Tour alongside 30 Seconds to Mars, The Used,
and Senses Fail, they’ve played the main stage at the Virgin and
Download Festivals, and on August 21st, they unleash their new
album Conviction. Expect a move away from the “horror rock”,
and on to darker pastures, as the band expand their sound with
the help of producer John Goodmanson (Death Cab For Cutie,
Bikini Kill, Soundgarden). The band finished the West Coast
Invasion tour and will remain on tour through the end of 2007,
including an international run in November for The Taste Of
Chaos International Tour with The Used and Rise Against.
Conviction
In Stores 8.21.07
“The most notable band to come out of Seattle since the grunge era… both terrifying and magnificent to behold.”
- Kerrang! KKKKK
The new record shows this Seattle quintet is taking the next path down the
road that will launch this group of misfits into one of the biggest rock bands of
2007. Vocalist Wil Francis describes the new opus is “about loving the
darkness that will destroy you, it’s about tearing yourself apart from inside, it’s
about feeling that the world is crashing around you with no hope in sight and
all you can do is laugh. It’s all about falling down then picking yourself back
up and believing. Feelings that have eluded me for years now have bubbled
to the surface and are finally seeing the light of day”.
With that in mind, taking the world by storm was only the beginning; now
prepare yourself and those around you for Conviction.

Emo Kids Suck Just as my username say, emo kids suck. And don't bullshit me and say all of you reading this are not emo. If you like this emo happy band Aiden, then you are emo. For all of you guys that like this crap, I know you probably already cut them off, but you need to grow some balls and put the knife down and most importantly, stop listening to this crap.

| hahah... you're funny
i like you | VitalEyes | Whats wrong with emo's? Just out of curiosity?
They're like everybody else, except they have more emotion, and more heart...? x
| xxbeautiful_tragedyxx | ima punk and seriously i dont know
wat people ( other punx, and metalheads)
have agaist them... i guess cuz
most of my friends turned emo i get along
with them... they are normal people and if u
get to talk to any emo person youll find
that there just like everyone else... ur stupid
for judging a person by the type
of music thay listen to... I HATE STEREOTYPES!!! | BlacK_Kat_punk_13 | Ah this is all hilarious to me.
Emo is just a music genre that stemmed from 90's hardcore. No one can be 'emo'. If they say they are their just kidding themselves. | xAidenxLastxSunrisex | | And we care what you think because... | GorgeousInGoth666 | i dont really care if you care or not. I'm just trying to explain to everyone that no one can be emo and its just a stupid little trend. | xAidenxLastxSunrisex | Hey, I like Aiden, a lot! LOL Emo's do NOT suck! Wow, you suck. LOL. I LLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEEEEEE AIDEN! They rock soooo hard, They were awesome in concert! Wh-hoo! LOL
Clara | vamp_emo_chick | i don't think Aiden is really emo. Anyway regardless i like them and a ton of other shit.
You can like some emo bands and not be some lame ass "emo kid" | indierawk | thats very true and i dont think aiden are emo either
they are great
dont know why these people waste there time saying how shit a band is or not | _xflyingdaggerx_ | Oh I just love how people like to waste their time lableing others. It's pointless. Grow up. | punk_freak_liz | if you really HATED them you wouldnt' have even bothered to go on their page. emos are people too, they ahve a rough time and probably have to deal wiht tons more shit then you do so why don't you cut your balls off (if your a guy) and give them to someone who deserves them. | halloweens-bitch | we do not suck, u little preppy dorks r the sucky one bc u are always worrying about ur looks and ur nails and a bunch of crap like that. so get a life, or drop dead. | sk8rgrl51 | I can see why people listen to emo but I hope to god something else evolves out of this cause this seems to be the only real direction in rock right now.
What makes everybody hate emo is probably the fact that so many god damn bands in that genre sound the same. I mean there is no other genre to date that has so many bands that sound identical to each other. | carouseljay | Does the term EMOTIVE HARDCORE mean nothing to you? Emo isn't a stereotype, it's a type of music. Pathetic isn't a stereotype either, but it's the best thing I can come up with for you. Jerk. | pick_your_punishment | | | |
