“Aion Truth” originally formed in the beginning of 2004 as a three piece called “Nine Below”. They played a series of small gigs around Jozi, before deciding to employ a second guitarist to Phatten up their sound. The guitarist they found was a talented young man, who had already caused a few waves of his own. Lady’s and Gents.. We give you Dylan Ellis (ex Pyramid Tongue).
The rest of 2004 would see the band playing shows like the “Annual Break-up Party”, “Die Pampoen Fees”, the finals of the RP studios emerging sounds Battle of the Bands and a huge amount of gigs all over Jozi.
The band parted ways in December 2004, after Dylan E relocated to Scotland. They have since reformed (April 2006) and are recording the Album of their dreams “The Nimbus Effect”
If you were a fan of the band back then you will be pleased to know their classic songs “See Through”, “This is me”, Awakened”, “Arms of Love”, Mislead Reason” and “Hey You” will be appearing on this album, along with some killer new tracks.
