*BIOGRAPHY*
Aksys is a rock band hailing from Trois-Rivieres, PQ. Form in the spring of 2005, the members of Aksys all cames from different backgrounds. After several months of loud practices and hard working the band felt it was time to show the world what they were all about.
So the band began recording their first soon-to-be self-release cd in November of 2005. Producer Francis Perron of Studio Radicart (http://www.studioradicart.com) was brought aboard to help complete and polish the final project and did an awesome job at it.
The band's debut release "Dying Beauty" is a collection of 8 original songs that are energetic and catchy. Each song has it's own feel and tone but in the end Aksys represent a new fuse of rock, punk and pop punk all combined together. Aksys wanted to make an album with songs that you'll remember so with shouted vocals, screaming guitars and pounded drums they make a good job at it. All the members in the band are super excited and proud about the result and would like everyone to hear the record.
"Dying Beauty" will be independently release in 2006 and then, the band will be hitting the road big time. So from venues to basements, Aksys plans to widen their hold on audiences throughout this next year! Check out the songs and tell us what you think at christiandupont@cgocable.ca .
