Al Green was born in the early 40's he was born in a place called Dansby. Most of the families who lived there, was poor black sharecroppers, who raised cotton and grew all sorts of other crops. The Reverned Al Green is a legendary gospel artist as well as blues. The Reverned Al Green always recited a special prayer before singing and it was called the Singers prayer:
