Classically trained and accomplished jazz musicians and vocalists, Alan and Lita have a style all their own. Their sound is a fusion of jazz, dance, R&B, soul, ethnic and popular music that transcends traditional borders. The new CD entitled “You’re The One For Me” (cdbaby.com/alblake) is an eclectic mixture of originals suited for a variety of tastes.
Alan and Lita have toured and recorded with artists such as the late Grover Washington Jr., the late George Howard, Jean Carne, Kevin Eubanks, and Rachelle Ferrell. They have performed at the Saratoga Springs Jazz Festival, Inman Park Festival, and several national venues with the late George Howard, Fairmount Park Philadelphia with jazz saxophonist the late Grover Washington Jr., the Hampton University Jazz Festival, Trinity College Workshop, Penns Landing jazz series, as well as the famous Blue Note jazz club in New York with jazz violinist John Blake, University of Pennsylvania Medical School Jazz events, St. Kitts Prime Ministers’ New Years Ball (2006), as well as numerous functions and events for many corporations and philanthropic organizations. |
