Since his conception Albert Lariviere has been wowing people with his uniquely powerful voice and aggressive musical style. Often compared to vocal legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and the Tea Party's Jeff Martin, Albert Lariviere has taken this power and moulded it into a one of a kind modern Acoustic Rock sound.
Albert Lariviere began his musical misadventure as a Rock drummer at the age of 15. When the restraints of being trapped behind a drum kit as a singing drummer became unbearable, Albert started taking guitar lessons from his father and expanded his musical knowledge. Once he became fluent on guitar he began writing his own music and collaborated with his father to record his first full length cd under the name Riverwild. This new talent and knowledge allowed him to step out of the shadow, and gave him the opportunity to unleash the front man charisma that had been previously caged.
Now in his 20's Albert has to his credit, one full length CD as front man for his first co written album Riverwild, Two seasons on CTV's Canadian Idol, a commercial on CTV, appearances on CITI TV's Breakfast Television, numerous live performances, and is now in the planning stages of recording his newest musical compositions which will be a acoustic rock album.
With influences from groups such as Nirvana, The Tea Party, and Days Of The New, Albert is dedicated to keeping the raw rock sound that has been the forefront of his inspiration. The new tracks which will be the melody of the up-coming disc, are entangled with raw edged rock riffs and aggressive vocals drenched in gothic undertones.
"Take a look, absorb the sound, and dive into the music with open arms, seek to find for what only the music can inspire"
