Alexis Blue formed in September 2005 from the ashes of 'The Rails', on the calmer side of the Mersey. Constant gigs locally and nationally have increased not only their dedicated fan base, but also their hunger and desire to progress further - Their new, fresh, unique and catchy Indie-Pop sound catching many an interested ear country & worldwide. After numerous lineup changes and temporary splits - the band is still going strong and the music remains and continues to please.

The Wombats, Milburn, Little Man Tate, The Kooks, Bromheads Jacket, Reverend & The Makers, 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Metro Riots, Luke Toms, 747's, Parka and Cazals - Aswell as a Club NME Headline slot, National radioplay and International magazine features have raised their profile even more. 2007 saw the band start with a new bassist, their debut single 'You Wont Get Much Sleep' sold out within weeks (both in the UK and Japan) and was named 'Record Of The Week' on various radio stations. In November the band played their largest headline show to date when they sold out the 500 capacity Liverpool Barfly. |
