Welcome to the Alf Kelty music page. My music style is quite eclectic. It is influenced by Asian, African, Irish and South American music.
My musical creations are similar to short stories. They are inspired by everyday things that go unnoticed. Seemingly mundane things that I believe can bring true joy if we just pause for a moment and forget about the things we are chasing after. One of my prominent sources of inspiration
comes from our futile attempts to find solitude, peace of mind and hope in a soulless mechanized world.
Although my music is purely instrumental I hope that it will speak to you through my blend of modern and ancient instruments and I hope that you will share in my passion.
