| Revolution from the basement is an anti-war album. The words are naked, without accompaniment, at times even read off of paper (and if you listen closely you can hear the trill buzz of a rusty lawnmower in the background). It was recorded in a garage in America. It was recorded with a sense of urgency and a budget thinner than a desert island Kate Moss. I generally prefer working alongside musicians, but it is extremely important to me that each of these words are heard crystal clear and their intent arrives at the desired destination. It is an album critical of our current regime and our nation’s direction. It is critical because I have a deep love for this country, this democracy and the potential of all people in the world to find more diplomatic resources to confront our issues. I hope it is enjoyable and conjures thought and conversation Peace and Love
