| Aliencore is DJ Denis Kandle's electro-punk project. Denis Kandle first deejayed in 1997 as a guest DJ for the radio programm EP Vanguarda (Imprensa FM, Rio de Janeiro), airing the latest tracks of rock and electronica. Kandle was the resident DJ of Incense, Mantra, Nextribe, Hypnotica and Electrolounge. Between 1999 and 2000 he was the promoter of the cultural event Projeto Bandas (Rio). In January 14th of 2001 Kandle was one of the attractions of Rock in Rio III Festival (Tenda Eletro). In 2002 his personal electronic project, Colortronic, was born, with several live PAs since then (Culturall Radio, E-Head, Ecorave, StormLab, PLUG Festival, E-Movement, Live Tonite [Dama de Ferro]), Taquicardia, amongst others. Denis wrote the soundtrack for stylist Ricardo Arita on Fashion Rio 2003, and released Colortronic's first album, Sonic Rainbow, in February 2007. Aliencore's first album will be released soon! |
