| Christer, Ronny and Sindre started playing with a couple of other guys back in 2001, in a band called Pioner 7. This was a great band, but because of different problems within the band, this didn't last. Pioner 7 broke up in 2005, and started looking for other opportunities and bandmembers. Kim played in a band called Fallen Sun, who also broke up in 2005. He knew the boys from former gigs, and the boys all came together and formed Almost Like Yesterday, mixing punk/rock and screamo. They came up with the name after a brainstorming, where they had written down several names on pieces of paper, put them in a hat, and pulled out the one with Almost Like Yesterday(ALY) written on it. |
