NEW DOWNLOADED SONG: DUPLEX COMPLEX
-Rhonda Williams:drums, Monica Moreno: guitar, Nicholas Harper:vocals, Abel Cruz:bass,------Amalgam Mode weaves melodies with dynamic intensity in crescendos that are indefinable. Ranging from influences of punk, rock, screamo, emo, post-hardcore, and alternative, Amalgam Mode has birthed a sound that is its own. The current demo is just an early taste of what the band created; the band is in the process of recording recent works, combining the two to compile a full length CD. Only in seeing the pulsating energy of a live show can one feel the honest passion and appreciation for the music produced.
Go to our myspace page: www.myspace.com/amalgammode to hear all tracks. The main track “Duplex Complex” is a song of despair with guitar and bass underlining subtle solos as rim knocks and harmonies sooth the background until the driven bridge and hard-rock accented outro. “Palindrome” is a musically emotional song that melts into melodies, ending lyrics and vocals that cry for a recovery of the past. “Too Loud for Leonard” is punk based and the first song that Abel, Monica, Nick and Rhonda collaborated on. The track, “Along the Way” is a catchy fast-paced anthem with undertones of grunge and a thrash-like close.
