| Amanda Sena is a singer/songwriter from Chicago, Illinois who is making a name for herself in the music circuit. Now, backed by some of the hottest and up-and-coming Chicago-based musicians, this act has been together now for over a year. The line up includes Amanda Sena on vocals, keys and guitar, Brian on drums (America's Number 1 Sweetheart & TAFKAV), Jim Sasak on guitar (Chunky & Cyclops-a-go-go), Jorge on bass (68 Bullets & ABNR) and Miss Kitty on background vocals and guitar (Kitty Mortland & Blacktop Fields). The band has performed around the Midwest from outdoor arenas to coffeehouses. Some venues include: Tweeter Center opening for big names like Jessica Simpson, Barenaked Ladies, and Alanis Morissette, the rave, the melody inn, Belvidere Fest, LaGrange street fests, Dominican University, DePaul University and Uncommon Ground to name a few. Amanda's songwriting and performing continue to evolve, leading to her sophomore release "...only makes me stronger" released June 2006 which is now available through cd baby and full of songs that are more mature. This highly anticipated release, produced by Brian Zieske (The Academy Is, The Hush Sound) includes a broad and eclectic range of styles which are sure to please a wide ranging audience.
