ReAL New Media (pronounced Ree-AL) formed in 1999 by Jon Robinson & Don Ferguson (and another person who shall remain nameless). Our first release was a single of Money Mo (now named I .. because it was time to change it up). It was next followed by PMC "Mindscapes". The release did well. It received some solid reviews and had guest artists Money Mo, Proof (D12) and Detroit's Most Wanted. Next came the 5 ELA "Part 3" e.p. This got national recognition with production by legendary producer J Dilla and incredible flows by Proof, Mudd & Thyme (5 ELA). We next did a joint collab for a Detroit Hip Hop documentary called the Laust Werld. During that time we also bought the rights to an underground, never before released e.p. by D12 (all the members including Eminem & Bugz) but because of possible legal ramifications we never released it. Through our succeses we attained an independent p&d deal and released Recognize....It's Not A Game. This project featured all of our artists: Money Mo, PMC, Philpot and Don Juan with appearances by Proof, D12, Jewelz & Detroit DJ DDT. Success came with some sales, shows and endorsement deals. Things happened and ReAL went on hiatus. After correcting our team and making our gang tight ReAL New Media is back for 2009. We are releasing 2 tracks from J Dilla & Philpot that have NEVER BEEN RELEASED BEFORE. Also, for the first time on cd 5 ELA "Part 3", a special tribute to 5 ELA member Proof. Brand new ReAL T-shirts are being designed and will be on our website for purchase when it is launched. Other projects are in the works and a possible re-release of the Laust Werld documentary on DVD (along with bonus material). 2009 will bring AMF & I "1000 Days".
