Right now i feel what i am writing and producing
can become hits my music reflects different issues in the world and further in the future, and for the plus i got a few commercial radio friendly tracks,
i came up listening to LL, runDmc.Rakim Big Daddy kane ,Public enemy Brand Nubians all these cats all together with my personal experience and world influences ie philosophys brings about Amon-Ra the balance in hip-hop
coming into hiphop i never planned on rapping again i had demos earlyier in the 90's but it never took off i did alot of small clubs in New York and cable perfomances, the songs i did then were explicit stuff for that time and era, i look back now and its like a major growth because my music now has meaning it has changed because i have grown consciously to whats going on.
i had left hip-hop alone for a about 7 years
i was just into books and work
it wasn't until i ran into a friend he was in the business just getting started he was buying studio gear he had a little something set up i new he needed
someone to test it out so he said do a little something i was reluctant at first as soon as i hit the mic 1 2 it was history one year later i had a studio up and running the next year after that i had release the balance album right to the streets i sold that hand to hand until night and day i profited about 14,000 bucks over 3,000 units sold man and i am still selling that.
The album was a slow process i needed money winter was coming in New york and i didn't wanted to be exploited no more and underpaid so i put together some old tracks and broke my neck to put them with new tracks and thats all i needed to get out there and make things happen.
Amon-Ra is born Big Bang Recording.
