Their second record is tentatively scheduled for release in the Summer of 2005, and plans for a possible summer tour are under way.
As the main songwriters for AñaVañA, Annastasia and Ian were nominated among the top Billboard Songwriters for the year 2003 and 2004 for their work. Their songs have also been included in the top 18 finalists in the 2002 Windrift International Songwriting Competition, and won a spot on the Windrift 2002 compilation CD.
More recently, album track Colors Fading placed in the top 5 for the Song of the Year Competition as well as second place in the Compo 10 competition. The track Taken Away placed second in the Song of the Month competition for February.
With their unique mix of musical styles, songwriting and musicianship AñaVañA separates themselves from the rest of the crowd.
