| Dymez grew up in the vicinity of Calder Ridge with his parents and younger sister who always motivated him to reach for the stars. Dymez was always a lover of music and spent most of his time singing along to songs played on the radio. At only the age of 11 Dymez took it upon himself to display his talent and began writing and DJing songs to his classmates and friends. At the age of 16, Dymez along with some friends under the name “Intaception Boyz” entered a competition on the 26th of May, 2006 inwhich they placed 1st with their song, “Keep on Hustling” which was their first song written as a group. Dymez then continued on with his music and entered into a competition arranged by the Curriculum Development Unit in which he placed 3rd. Dymez has since then performed at places such as Peace Memorial Hall, Calliaqua Playing Field, Bishop College Kingstown, Girls’ High School and Grammar School. Dymez and the group Intaception Boyz have made a name for themselves being in and out of their homemade studio where they recorded their first mixtape entitled “Tha Warm Up” which was very successful. Dymez has decided to continue his journey in the music world and to help display the talent which St. Vincent and The Grenadines possess. |
