Biography

Country folk from her little hometown in the Cariboo/Chilcotin region of British Columbia thought Angela was crazy when she took her guitar and a suitcase full of demos to the big city of Nashville, TN back in 1993. Shortly after arriving on â€œMusic Rowâ€ and based on those demos and her skills as a lyricist and songwriter Angela was invited to write with such songwriting luminaries as Cyril Rawson, Rob Harbin and Richard Wold...fast forward to today... On the heels of her recent 2005 BCCMA â€œFemale Artist of The Yearâ€ nomination Angela steps forward with her newest release entitled Roots - a beautiful collection of masterfully penned songs that resonate with a down home sensibility. After one listen youâ€™ll agree that Angela Harris is a remarkable storyteller with photographic clarity that posses a voice that turns both your head and your heart.
