| Anic were formed years ago by guitarist Andy benn and bassist ally porter when they were at school,but as they went there seperate ways the band was put on hold until andy met other guitarist John seth on a music course at college in Glasgow, the two of them started writing songs together and formed a band called THE JOY OF PAINTING where they met drummer stevie mcG and they started playing gigs all around Glasgow. ally moved up from wolverhampton in 2002 and the band was back to Anic and as the four piece they have rehearsed and rehearsed and have recorded a three track demo of the best new heavy metal coming out of scotland if not britain.
