In 63 all we knew was -The Beatles and The Rolling Stones--But when -House of The Rising Sun -hit the airwaves -it made the hair on my neck stand up-I thought what is this-this is not girly Beatle music-I was only 8 yrs old at the time-But it made an impression that lasts to this day-I became an organ player-because of The Animals-With Eric's soulful -gritty vocals-Alan's warm -bluesy Vox organ-Hilton's rhythum and lead guitar-John Steele's solid drumming-The Giant -Chas Chandler-on Gibson Bass-it was a solid rocking group-that held their own against other Bands of the Era-Listen to the long version of them doing-Talkin Bout You-Alan Price Smokes on the organ-They did a lot of great Music-Eric just released a Brand new CD-May-2004-Now on Tour-He Rocks on his new CD-My Secret Life--Alan Price tours England-Hilton moved to the East Coast-US-Released a new CD-John Steele is drumming for an unknown band.Chas is sadly passed away.
