| Originally formed in the late '60s in Japan the Apple-Butter Blues Band members were mostly USAF brats & one GI who sang and played blues harp. This most recent reincarnation played at our high school reunion and had a blast. Most of the repertoire back then was a lot of 2nd gen blues and some R&B with a couple of originals thrown in. We played all over Japan including Tokyo, Shinjuku, Akasaka, and a host of other cities and bases. We opened for Gary Lewis & The Playboys at the first Tachikawa Rock Concert with a couple of other local bands. It was a very good time..... |
