| Heavy on melody, The Appreciation Post lay honest vocals over giant guitars. Generous with Moog synthesizers, this Boston quintet take new-wave elements uncommon from most indie-rock bands and layer them nicely, creating interesting textures while keeping it all catchy as hell.
After the break-up of their former band (Roxie), singer/guitarist Jim Keaney and drummer Ted Carlson began writing and recording songs together in their apartment with roommate/guitarist Scott Morganella (Junction 18 / fearless). With the addition of Vietnam Le on bass and Roger Lussier on Moogs, The Appreciation Post offer up their debut self-titled 4-song EP. Catch these guys out on tour Winter 2005! |
