Where I come from Arcade Fire is pretty
popular. I'm not hugely into them, but I
like some of their stuff. There is a severe
lack of people with good taste on these
boards...

Okay. I had only heard songs where the girl
sang, upon posting that. Now, I must say, the
guy just has that same whiny crap vocal thing
going on that is present in Neutral Milk
Hotel and Bright Eyes, and emulated by crappy
psuedo-emo bands. Although sometimes there is
a quality that is closer to the Modest Mouse
guys singing, I don't find it very
interesting. I looove the girls voice though.
"Sleeping in a Submarine" is

I really love their "Funeral"
cd. I think it's one of the best
independent releases of the past year. I
can't stop listening to it. I can
understand why some people might not like it,
it is kinda "artsy", but most
of the songs are really good. I highly
reccomend giving it a listen. | thechad |

They have some stand-out songs but for the
most part its like all else. Leave NMH alone
