| ARNAU BIO
The project Arnau is a creation of Ivan Arnau born in Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain) 1973, who has always been involved in the electronic music scene in Barcelona. Arnau has released various projects of electronic music on many international record labels and working on his own label as well.
The Arnau project was born through the meeting of DJ E-Rivaldo (Erivaldo Martins disc jockey from Salvador of Baia, Brazil which is currently living in Terrassa). E-Rivaldo comes from the electro/freestyle scene of Salvador where he has worked in the most prominent clubs of Baia!!
E-Rivaldo inspired Ivan to produce Freestyle music with a personal touch!!! Ivan involved the collaboration of Marinetta a long time friend (an artist from the independent Barcelona music scene), who has various electro music projects under her belt. Hekky in 1994, the group renamed in the independent Spanish scene, member of Tatta a musical group formed by the Columbian producer Santa and actress Gracia Auguri, and currently working on various other projects with Dark Vektor, EVAC, DJ Huete, and the flamenco musician David Castro in her self entitled project Marinetta.
About two years ago during Marinetta’s time with Orberts the organization of musical artists in Terrassa, she met Liz Lilantahl a 26 year old Venezuelean
singer and dancer of contemporary dance, who is currently living in Barcelona. Liz has worked with different producers and bands picking up many different styles of musical influences. Her personal influences range from Bjork,
Radiohead and Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and many other styles of music. She also has worked with the talents of “Pig Farm On The Moon’ and other cover bands in Venezuela as well as Barcelona. Her latest project has joined her with the talents of Ivan Arnau. From electro pop to jazz, Liza adds her flavor and unique style to every project she is involved in.
The Arnau Project has cross the globe to involve the DJ/ production talent of one of Miami’s early 80’s electro funk pioneers DJ Jorge Ojeda from Destune Records. DJ Jorge Ojeda known for his blends of funky beats with melodic melodys and break edits has created two Club mixes guranteed to have all the dancfloors in the US asking “GIVE ME” more.
