ASAU is a working band out of North Carolina creating unique rhythms & sounds on the heavy metal scene. Our style has everything from hard rock to death metal flowing through it. Like a strand of rope we twist into our music influences from many genres and bands. This hybrid sound brings forth an eclectic mix of old, new, and different. We are a group of driven musicians wanting only one thing- to create quality sounding music that moves people on a base level.
AS Sick As Us - Was formed in 2008 by brothers Zachary and Zane Oskins. The group started like most do- a few young friends with a lot of energy, a drum set, guitars, and a garage. Our first gig was at a venue called The Live Space, which was started by a friend. Then the band was offered a show at a new venue named The Boiler Room, which was just getting off the ground downtown. After several shows at these two spots the word started getting out on the street that a new band with great sound and tight playing was making a name for itself. It has been nothing short of a straight-up-in-the-air rocket ride ever since!
Please keep the band effort going by buying an E.P. or single track through CD Baby starting Autumn/Winter 2009 so we can continue to do what we love the most- Produce quality music that emotionally touches people. We live to write and play music.
