As Sick As Us Is Recording!!!
The band is presently at Deaf Ear Productions studio starting June 22nd 2009 to start work on their much anticipated EP. A very limited run of CD's will be available at shows starting in August, with a full release date & show scheduled for October 2009. ASAU is in no hurry because we want to insure we produce the highest quality and best sounding material for you. We will post one new song on our web sites in July to give everyone a taste of what is about to hit the streets.

ASAU Confirmed For 20th Annual Michigan Deathfest!
Today As Sick As Us received a thumbs up from the Italian "Godfathers of Deathmetal" band Natron. As a result we are now booked to play the 20th Annual Michigan Deathfest in 2010. This is THE original deathfest that started it all here in the U.S. back in 1990.
Bands from around the world will converging on Planet Rock in Battle Creek Michigan next May 28th and 29th.
In addition, Natron will be starting their U.S. tour and As Sick As Us will be playing with them and others TBA as a support act at selected tour locations on the east coast.
After a lot of shows and hard work (and some luck) As Sick As Us is finally getting some breaks and their music is being seriously considered! Gonna be a crazy ride over the next year! Stay tuned... more info TBA...

ASAU Plays The Handlebar!
As Sick As Us had the privilege to play on the stage of one of the Southeast's top premier venues on Friday May 22nd 2009. The Handlebar in Greenville South Carolina has had everyone from platinum selling artists to Grammy award winners grace its stage over the years. Check out their web site.
ASAU was also photographed with the owner of the venue John while performing sound checks for an article in Southern Living magazine - Heavy metal in Southern Living - Hell Yeah!
The boys stole the show and pumped out a 30 minute set that blew the sound engineer away and had John saying afterward "I really enjoyed that" and "you've got a lot of talent in a really young, eager and cohesive band - which is saying a lot for probably 90% of the bands that are out there - your boys are going to make it"
High praise indeed from a wonderfully successful guy who has seen it all come across his stage. It is with inspirational words like this and the chance to play locations such as The Handlebar that keeps this band moving forward and trying to put out better and better music.
Stay tuned.... More good shit is coming down the road from ASAU...

As Sick As Us! Recording at Deaf Ear Productions 5/16/2009
ASAU is presently recording a 5 song E.P. album set for release in July 2009. The band has been refining the all original material for the past several months. We are confident our fans and the public will love this material based on the crowd reactions at all of our shows when we play these five songs.
Zack is tweaking the lyrics and Jake and Jeff are finalizing the riffs and chorus sections. The sounds range from machine gun fast guitar play to some of the heaviest drum beats you've ever heard.
This stuff is a mix of hard rock and heavy metal that is guaranteed to get your head nodding in auditory delight! Stay tuned folks - With all sincerity this stuff is amazing considering the young ages of these band members.
