| "Asbo" started off as Noyan jamming with Panay and a guy called craig really, and then when they heard about a Tsunami Fund Raising gig our school was doing, and formed a band with Panay, Craig, and Dimitrius (Panay and Dimi are brothers), And Alex from Headspace (visit them at www.headspace.cjb.net). Louise and Alex knew eachother beforehand, and Louise had just split up from a band and was looking for another one. Alex introduced her and Noyan, and after a couple of rehersals prior to the Tsunami gig, everything was looking great. We got a great sounding setlist up and pulled off a very sucessful performance with only a couple of weeks' rehersal!! We had some problems finding a name everyone liked, but Alex came up with Asbo, and everyone agreed. Since then we've written 2 or 3 songs, and things are looking great. We have two bigish gigs lined up, and hopes of recording an LP perhaps. |
