| asforyou started out as a highschool girl and her guitar. I (Angela) had been writing songs since I learned to play guitar and had always wanted to get a band together. When I was a senior in highschool - freshman in college, my friend Thom allowed me to record a few songs at his house. Thus asforyou was born. I played acoustic and sang while Thom played percussion, bass, and guitar for the recordings. Time passed and during the winter of 2004, Shawn Ames came into the scene and helped me to rerecord some of my songs. Now the band consists of the three of us (Angela, Thom, and Shawn). We are just young adults who love God, love music, and want to share both of them with anyone we can. We hope you enjoy what we have created. I know we sure have! |
