The princess of r&b ,Ashanti Douglas brought music to the world in the early year of 2000 .Her self titled album \\\"Ashanti\\\" was on Murder Inc.record label .Her first single \\\"Foolish\\\" became a hit on the pop charts in 2002 \\\" .Later in 2003 Ahanti and Ja- Rule got together and made a big hit called \\\"Mesmarized\\\" which was similar to the 1970\\\'s movie \\\"grease\\\"
Ashanti became persuing her singing at a very young age. she was creative talented young beautiful person who said,\\\"i didn\\\'t want to sing only slow songs or spitting rhymes\\\"
In the summer of 2003 ashanti\\\'s released her 2nd album \\\"Chapter 2\\\" with her single \\\"Rock Wit U\\\" which was nominated for 2003 MTV Video Music Award for Best R&B Video. In 2004 Ashanti also released her third single \\\"Break Up 2 Make up\\\".
However Ashanti\\\'s new duet with singer Loyed became a massive hit called \\\"South Side\\\"
