ASONO
A melodic guitar driven sound that combines powerful vocal delivery with expressive lyrical content. Catchy hooks and explosive solos reinforced by technical pounding drum tracks form unforgettable melodies and exude the band's young and energetic style.
A modern slant on the super-groups of rock.

Asono formed in late 2003 when four friends united their interests in music to form a band. After months of deliberation the band finally decided on the name Asono. Asono comes from the Latin word 'sono,' which means - to create sound. The band performed locally at first but is now commanding bigger venues in and around the London area with one of the highlights being a headlining spot at Oxford University Summer Ball. The band also reached the London Final for the Emergenza Unsigned Music Event held at The London Astoria last July. The band recorded a five-track demo in late September 2004 and are selling a 6 track CD-EP called 'Someday' which contains both the single and long version of 'Od'd on Love'. They are now putting together new material for a mini-tour, which is to be planned for 2006 as well as a new CD-EP due out soon.
One Man Army - Asono - Lyrics
Time to cash in coz you just checked out
An' your voice is cold such a pretty picture says to me
You didn't see it coming
Wo wo, now just hold still
There's so much more to do it's a dirty job
But someone's got to do it
Someone always pays the bill
Tonight it's you
Tonight it's over you're through
Chorus:
So here's to the lonely hearts living on easy street
Child you overwhelm me you're so innocent so sweet
Hold you in my arms till I hear you say
One man army
I see it in your eyes as you just step back
Picking out a mag at the newstand 2a.m.
Sirens in the night it ain't just black and white
I should've thought it through I should've said no
Should've gone to bed watch the signs roll green to red
Hanging on the moment hanging by a thread
Tonight it's you
Tonight it's over you're through
Chorus
Can't beat that smile when you've just got laid
Here right now wanna take a photo picture of your face
Just for safety's sake
Bullet hole drilled neat but mean
One last breath last wish worth dying for
Someone goes to sleep gotta keep the city clean
Chorus
