ASSUCK. The most extreme band Florida has ever seen. Hailing from an area where death metal is king, ASSUCK took the extremity of that music, mixed it with a sound punk attitude, and created one of the most amazing bands ever!!
ASSUCK's first release, NECRO SALVATION showed some people what this band could be about! This 7" hinted at something special, but not until the 1991 release ANTI CAPITAL on Sound Pollution, this band blow the hinges off the doors!!
This was the most heavy three piece ever!! There was no Bass!! YEAH thats right, no bass! The sound was so amazing!! Paul's vocals were so deep, yet the words so meaningful, Steve's awesome riffs were the perfect accompiant to Rob's superior drum skills! This band fucking ripped!!
The Blindspot 7" was released and by now they had brought in a bassist. The band continued to amaze!!
Sadly, Paul left Assuck and took his lyrical genius with him. This could have been the end for Assuck, but Steve took it upon himself to take on vocal duties on top of guitar!
The 1996 album Misery Index will go down in history!! A 3 piece again, yet being able to grab the attention only a full scale orchestra would be capable of! If ASSUCK do nothing for you, then you are clinically dead!! This is the most extreme grind, with the most intelligent lyrics ever!!
