DaveBass has been round the block a few times and more!! born in 1965 age 42 this year. First started out in music playing bass in punkrock bands Security force and State victims 1n 1980/85, then moved on the Psychedelic rock,metal,blues,funk, reggae etc, Anything with an edge that grooved i wanted, away from the wash of the mainstream!!, havin played in numurious bands and done well over a 1000gigs in his time Since them days, he has become multi-instrumentalist, now plays bass,guitar,drums, perc,keyboards,efx etc,and is also a computer network/technician,webdesigner,sound
engineer,composer,producer,roadie and general slave to the developement of his
music,and his alter ego AstroDruid
Always interested in the spirit vibe and soul expression in music+life which brings ppl together, Ended up arriving on the free festival/party scene in 1986 and has been an avid attender ever since, i think the main thing that change my life for the
better was the experience of treeworgey tree on bodmin moor in 1989, having
experienced that set me on a path of total self discovery,hightlight for me seeing wango rileys travelling stage hosting Ozric Tentacles and Hawkwind. well there u have it , been following developments every since!!!??
back to 2006
when i decided to re-invent myself as AstroDruid, which will become a
melting pot of everthing i have heard and felt and seen in my life so far!
First gig was a special one. i was asked by now good friend Thom (Guano Unsane)
to play a versus set with him at a night he had organised called Mellout, which was a success for me as a musician i gained a lot from it, and decided to carry on playing live and playing music.So i back writing new material and have a new 2 set in motion
