| Formed in Mid 2004, Asylum Nation (formerly known as Eototo) have quickly established themselves as a power funk rock juggernaut. Based in London, the 4 piece are the essence of rock and soul, incorporating blues based old skool rock with a little bit of Motown soul and a touch of progressive personality. Hard rock with pop sensibility. Evan formed the band in the summer of 2004, and after running through a series of ill equipped musicians, met ex-pat bass player Dean and immediately hit it off. Having both come from successful bands in the past, they forged ahead and soon found hard pounding, groove master Colin and lead guitarist Nic. After recording their debut CD “Trail of Tears” they toured the entire UK playing in such prestigious venues as The Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Phoenix in Plymouth, The Garage in London and many other. 2005/2006 will be a breakout year for the band. Havin already turned heads in London, the band’s music is turning up all over the UK and they will be in the studio recording their 2nd CD this fall. “Funky, baby-makin’ music” Remember the Alamo |
