| The Band was created by Brett, Dustin, and Sam. These 3 have been together since the first time they ever held a guitar. It all started in 2001 when they had a dream to be in a band and do something out of the ordinary. They started playin together and made a band called Smokin Somethin which was later changed to Outbreak. This band didnt stay together very long. Most of the members never played an instrument before so it was more or less a joke. Then they started a new band with a more experienced drummer, the band was called "Unless" from then on there playing abilty became more experienced and grew more and more. But Dustin and Sam were kicked out because of complications with the drummer. Brett was still in that band and was the lead guitarist until the band split up in June 2005. A few weeks after that they decided to try again and they formed 38th Parallel. Then they picked up Lead Singer Dillon Fredericks. Brett also decided to step down from guitar and let Sam take over on lead. Brett will further his experience as a drummer. They named it 38th Parallel, but in Summer of 2005 they found out that there is already a christian band with a major record deal that is already named 38th Parallel. So they decided to change the name to Atomic Theory. But after the first few very succesful shows in Late Summer 2005 Atomic Theory lost there original Lead Singer Dillon Fredericks. A.T. went through a number of different musicians and they finally found a new lead singer. Joseph Bruchko, He was the former lead singer of Tragic in Theory and his music has been on the top 100 in Billboard for independent music. To say the least he is a great contribution to the band and his beautiful singing and melodic screaming will bring this band to the next level. All these growths and changes do nothing but give the band more of an experienced and proffesional sound. It's amazing what they've done in the past year and i hope to see more of it in the future. Peace* |
